Artistic Statement

I live in Bedlington near the beautiful Northumberland coast, and have held an interest in woodturning for many years. Although it has previously just been a hobby, retirement has allowed me more time to improve, try out some different ideas, and finally share some of my pieces. All the wood I use is sourced locally, either driftwood from local beaches or naturally felled trees, which is then rough turned and allowed to dry for at least 6 months, if not longer, before it can be turned to achieve the finished product. Each piece is a unique, hand-turned item created by myself.
