Artistic Statement

I have always been interested in nature and the elements, especially the sea and what the earth and sea creates. I have been a floral artistic designer for many years and have also worked in the jewellery sector. I love colour and autumn is my favourite time of year, such a beautiful colour changing season.
I adore beachcombing and collecting local seaglass to create my handmade suncatchers. Using a framework of natural copper wire and silver plated copper wire with a theme of the sea and earth combined in my unique designs, using elegant pearls, semi precious gem stones, mother of pearl, new and up cycled glass beads, the occasional piece of tumbled glass and crystals, all of which work in beautiful harmony with the seaglass.
