Artistic Statement

Joanna uses found materials, such as amber from mines in her native Poland to local sea glass in her images. She creatively uses epoxy resin to attach these materials to acrylic canvas. The resin has to be sourced from Germany so that it is safe to use without the noxious fumes it causes.
