A painting in the gallery is up for sale and the proceeds will go to help the restoration of the Church of Our Lady near Delaval Hall.
Bright White Light shows the Jersey coastline on a spring day. The painter, Carolyn Ainsworth is an artist and illustrator. The books she has illustrated include ‘The Days I Knew’ (Lillie Langtreys autobiography) and ‘These Haunted Isles’.
It is being sold on behalf of the Friends of the Church of Our Lady. The Friends charity were established in 1997 to fundraise to support and cherish the tiny Saxon/Norman parish church of Seaton.
The church suffered storm damage recently and the sale will go towards helping rectify the damage.
